Can A Teddy Bear Change The World? #Giveaway

When you purchase a teddy bear from Bears For Humanity, you have the delightful task of choosing a charity – because your purchase instantly doubles as a gift for a child in need! We chose the bears Sammie and Sassy in 16".  They are adorable!  We chose that our donation bear would go to the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital, one of the few hospitals in the country exclusively dedicated to pediatric and obstetric care.  I could just imagine some sick littles hugging their bears, making them feel a little better.



The cuddly pals are personally delivered to the hospital, or a needy veteran’s house, or an underprivileged household. I think that is so awesome--you really can imagine the joy people feel when they receive one.  My little guy hasn't seen his bear yet--it is currently sitting on a shelf at our new house.  Today happens to be moving day and he's spending the night with a friend.  I can't wait til he comes up the stairs, goes into his room, and sees his new bear which just happens to have the same name he does!

The bears are also luxuriously soft! Bears For Humanity pals are the only 100% Certified Organic Cotton/ Hemp teddy bears in the world. They're even made in the USA, giving jobs to those who need one through CalWORKS in Northern California.  That is so awesome in this economy when so many people are still out of work!!  And I really love to support American made toys--but they're hard to find!

The larger of the two buy-one/give-one organic teddy bears boast poseable limbs for snugglier hugs like the one above. These bears are at home at a tea party or a dance party. 

The bears come in 5 colorful characters:

Sammie—iconic beige
Sassie—pink
Snowie—white
Snugglie—chocolate brown
Sweetie—blue
