When you are 36 (and a half), you shouldn't be fighting acne, right?! When I was a teenager I looked forward to that as one of the benefits of being a grown-up. Thankfully, acne isn't so bad for me as it was then but I definitely get breakouts in my t-zone, around my forehead and my chin more often than I'd like. I've tried a wide variety of products form Clearasil to Pro-Active and, while they do the trick in getting rid of any zits (ugly word! I no like it) they definitely made my face way too dry which is not pretty, either! I decided to look around for an alternative with more natural ingredients that maybe wouldn't be so harsh on my skin.

Their products have less salicylic acne (.5% as opposed to the traditional product's 2%) which is enough to do the trick (combined with their natural ingredients I'll talk about in a minute) but not too much that it's harsh on your skin like those other brands. |

Their natural ingredients include Green Tea, Passion Flower, Licorice Root, Tea Tree, Aloe Vera, and Sage which promote healty skin, having healing and protective properties, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory effects. The scent is fresh and the products are gentle. I totally should've done before and after pics but, alas, I did not.... taking zit pictures of myself was not something I was very motivated to do and so take my word for it and the word of 468 other happy people! :) |
