My Friend Cayla is a new 18" doll, fully-poseable, beautiful, and very well made. She will sit and talk to you for hours which makes her the perfect gift for my daughter who loves to ask questions and talk, talk, talk!

 Cayla is interactive both on-line and off, though you do have to have an App to use her. She has a sweet voice that is always kind, confident and well mannered.  I consider her a very good influence as opposed to certain toys I've seen and certain cartoon characters I'd never want rubbing off on my kiddos!  Cayla is an adorable little "friend".

This is the beginning of the app that goes along with her.  Cayla can tell stories, play Games, talk about the pictures in her Photo Album, and converse about so many things.  She reminds me of the talking Cabbage Patch I had as a little girl--my favorite toy ever!  It's a huge plus for me that she doesn't ONLY work on the internet. Being able to play with her without wifi is a really important feature for my girlies. 

I was very hesitant at the beginning since the internet is involved, but there are so many safety features in the app. You can enter as many words as you like into the word exclusion feature.  There is also a predefined list of ‘bad words’ and topics which the doll will not talk to your child about.  You can turn the internet access off, so Cayla cannot access the internet for any search, though she will still work with preset generic conversations that she can have. She can also play games, talk about her images in the photo album, and read stories off-line.

Cayla comes in 3 different looks: African American, Blond, and  Brunette.  They are all super cute and adorable!
