One thing that's made my family's life richer is experiencing things we've never tried before. I've found that one of the simplest ways to do that is with subscription boxes! Our favorite box of 2015 was our Homegrown Collective Box. Who will win for 2016? Coming soon!
The kiddos and I had so much fun making our own soap with Homegrown Collective's "Let Us Make Soap" subscription box! |
First step: melt the soap base at 10 second intervals (mine took 30 seconds). Melt the cocoa and shea, also, and stir about a tablespoon into the soap base. I also added a tablespoon of honey from Holly's Little Farm. |
Aren't they awesome?! And they smell amazing! The kids were thrilled. We loved our soap making experience. One of my very favorite subscription boxes ever and we have tried so many! |

What a great craft! I see so many crafts aimed at kids that are sticking stickers to fun foam--not something they can use! I love seeing kids doing real things :)
