The Traveling Sisterhood: Exposed Skincare: Mixing Nature and Science for Beautiful Skin #Giveaway

Exposed Skincare: Mixing Nature and Science for Beautiful Skin #Giveaway

When you are 36 (and a half), you shouldn't be fighting acne, right?! When I was a teenager I looked forward to that as one of the benefits of being a grown-up.  Thankfully, acne isn't so bad for me as it was then but I definitely get breakouts in my t-zone, around my forehead and my chin more often than I'd like.  I've tried a wide variety of products form Clearasil to Pro-Active and, while they do the trick in getting rid of any zits (ugly word! I no like it) they definitely made my face way too dry which is not pretty, either!  I decided to look around for an alternative with more natural ingredients that maybe wouldn't be so harsh on my skin.

Exposed Skincare said they'd be happy to send me products to review, and I love them!  Their products have less salicylic acne (.5% as opposed to the traditional product's 2%) which is enough to do the trick (combined with their natural ingredients I'll talk about in a minute) but not too much that it's harsh on your skin like those other brands.

It seems their paying customers totally agree with me.  Exposed Skincare combines natural and scientific ingredients, and isn't their packaging pretty?  Their natural ingredients include Green Tea, Passion Flower, Licorice Root, Tea Tree, Aloe Vera, and Sage which promote healty skin, having healing and protective properties, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory effects.   The scent is fresh and the products are gentle.  I totally should've done before and after pics but, alas, I did not.... taking zit pictures of myself was not something I was very motivated to do and so take my word for it and the word of 468 other happy people! :)

Upon checking out their website, I saw that they have 468 customer reviews with 4 1/2 stars.  That's really an awesome rating!

GIVEAWAY
One of you will receive a 6-piece Expanded Skincare Kit just like the one I reviewed.  It includes: Facial Cleanser, Clearing Tonic, Acne Treatment Serum, Clear Pore Serum, Moisture Complex, and a super soft microfiber cloth--a $120 value Enter below by Oct.  20 at 11 pm anyone's time.

Check out our other giveaways, too--we have a lot of goodies this week!

Special thanks to the wonderful people at Exposed Skincare for this review and giveaway opportunity!  All opinions are honest and my own.

  16. I think this would be great for my daughter to try. She finds that some products are too strong and they dry out and aggravate her skin and makes it look worse then before.

I have much worse acne at 28 than I did as a teenager, which I find very frustrating! Like you, I've tried some harsher products, but all they did is make my acne more painful and dried out (and I started getting scars - for the first time in my life!!). I would love to find something that works!
