The Traveling Sisterhood: Gorgeous Hair, Natural Stylers, and nuNAAT #AmazingPrices #SalonProducts

Gorgeous Hair, Natural Stylers, and nuNAAT #AmazingPrices #SalonProducts

I recently moved to a city that has more humidity than my hair was used to--not a pretty thing for a curly girl!  I also had just happened to receive the Real Me Curl-to-Coil collection from the very generous people nuNAAT.  They were so nice and their customer service was spot-on (they always get back to me so quickly) so I was really hoping I could write a sincere, thoughtful review for them... but honestly, mostly I was hoping their products would do the trick for my tresses!

nuNAAT's Curl-to-Coil Collection includes their Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair Mask (deep conditioner), Pomade (hair cream), Activator (gel), and Sheen.  My absolute favorite of the products is the Pomade. Amazingly, I put it on right after my evening shower. Before trying these products, my routine was hair gel or mousse at night and then in the morning, I would have to put more hair gel or mousse and a bit of hairspray.
The first morning I woke up after trying nuNAAT's Pomade, my hair looked like this--minus straightening my bangs.  I'm not even kidding!  I looked in the mirror kind of at a loss, wondering "Where is the frizz and the bedhead?"  In these two photos, I'd been using nuNAAT's Curl-to-Coil Shampoo, Conditioner, and Mask for about 2 weeks.  I rotate between the Curl Activator and the Pomade.  I used the Sheen in the photos, also.  I don't like using it on all of my hair as it tends to look oily on me, but I use it to bring out shine in certain curls throughout my hair.

All of the Curl-to-Coil products combined have a gorgeous affect! I get a ton of compliments on my hair.  It's my best feature when I'm able to use the best products on it.

If you're looking at these photos thinking "I wish I could get my hair to look like that!" and your hair has any natural wave at all, you should definitely try these products!

Shampoo and Condition at night, scrunch the Pomade into your hair (I use about 1/2 a handful--kind of a lot b/c my hair is thick), and sleep on it with it gathered at the top of your pillow so that it dries slowly.  I've found this gives my hair the fullest look with the least frizz. If you have wavy/curly hair, never use a brush on it!  That causes extra frizz and breakage, something curly hair is already prone to.  Finger combing while conditioner is still in your hair is best or, if you need to, use a wide-tooth comb.

If you are not a curly or wavy-haired girl, nuNAAT has a variety of wonderful collections for any hair type. I'd be interested to try some of their other lines, too.  You can find their products at Walgreens (both in-store and online) and they are amazingly priced under $6 a product--and these are salon-worthy products!  I was so relieved to see the price because I really don't want to live without the Pomade, especially!

Special thanks to the wonderful people at nuNAAT for providing me with their products to review.  All opinions are honest and my own.
