The Traveling Sisterhood: Torchlighters DVD #Giveaway The Most Amazing Series for Kids! #FishFlix

Torchlighters DVD #Giveaway The Most Amazing Series for Kids! #FishFlix

The Torchlighters is a series of animated programs especially for kids 8-12, presenting the lives of true-life heroes from Christian history.  An inspiring series!  These cartoons touch my heart as well as my childrens'.
Our Torchlighters collection so far.  Perpetua and Gladys Aylward are my favorites.  They were such amazing women -- regular women, really, who "served a great God" as Gladys Aylward once said.  So inspiring!  These cartoons bring tears to my eyes and inspire me to be more, filling me with hope that I believe will also rub off on my kids.
The Robert Jermain Thomas Story, the newest in the Torchlighters series, tells the story of the Bible smuggler who brought light into the dark kingdom of Korea in the 1860s.  Each DVD in the series includes an animated movie, a documentary, and printable student handouts like worksheets and coloring pages.
Korea, mid-19th Century
The hermit kingdom of Korea will do anything to keep foreigners and Christianity out.  However, one brave missionary will do anything to bring the light of God into this dark land.  With the help of some Korean fishermen hungry for truth, Robert Jermain Thomas risks everything to smuggle in a treasure beyond imagination.  But what will his bravery cost him? And will the Word of God bring light to this dark kingdom?
